The original "Seven Sisters" were: Standard Oil of New Jersey, Royal Dutch Shell, Anglo Persian Oil Company, Standard Oil of New York, Standard Oil of California, Gulf Oil and Texaco.

Emerged out of the original seven sisters - ExxonMobil and Chevron of the US and Europe's BP and Royal Dutch Shell

New Seven Sisters as Saudi Aramco (Saudi Arabia), Gazprom (Russia), CNPC (China), NIOC (Iran), Pdvsa (Venezuela), Petrobras (Brazil) and Petronas.

Mobile offshore production units facilities in Sarawak

MISC Bhd has been awarded a contract worth about US$320mil to US$360mil from PCPP Operating Co Sdn Bhd for the lease of two mobile offshore production units facilities for the latter’s development projects in Sarawak.

PCPP is a joint venture between Petronas Carigali, PetroVietnam and Pertamina of Indonesia.

First oil production for the D30 field was expected in June 2009 and for the DANA field in September 2009.

Punj Lloyd bagged $500 million Sabah Sarawak Gas Pipeline project in Malaysia.
