Emerged out of the original seven sisters - ExxonMobil and Chevron of the US and Europe's BP and Royal Dutch Shell

New Seven Sisters as Saudi Aramco (Saudi Arabia), Gazprom (Russia), CNPC (China), NIOC (Iran), Pdvsa (Venezuela), Petrobras (Brazil) and Petronas.
